HIGH POINT REGIONAL CANCER CENTER
The High Point Regional Cancer Center opened in 2004 and provides Medical Oncology/Hematology and Laboratory services. Our mission is to provide state-of-the-art, quality cancer care to patients and families, close to home. Unfortunately, radiation services terminated in December 2009 and are no longer available in Logan County.

Medical Oncology/Hematology Services at the High Point Regional Cancer Center
Mary Rutan Hospital has provided Medical Oncology/Hematology services since the early 1980s. Since January of 2004, care continues at the High Point Regional Cancer Center. Patient treatments are individualized and the oncologist works closely with local physicians in providing quality cancer care in our community.
Dr. Sudhathi Chennuru provides medical oncology services at the High Point Cancer Center. Oncology clinics are held every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Chemotherapy is given from 7:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and is available to be given on weekends as needed.
The Ewing H. Crawfis Oncology Clinic provides state-of-the-art treatment, education and follow-up for patients. The Clinic is staffed by nurses who are trained in the administration of chemotherapy as well as patient and family education. In addition, our staff works on the coordination of referrals and consults on an as needed basis.

American Cancer Society and Resource Library
The American Cancer Society provides an on-site Patient Navigator who assists in linking cancer patients, families, survivors and caregivers to resources and programs in the community. Heather Combs is the current Patient Care Navigator who serves several counties in Ohio and is typically at the Cancer Center on Thursdays.
Laboratory Services
A Phlebotomist is available on-site for laboratory testing. All tests are processed at the Mary Rutan Hospital Laboratory. Dr. Robert Davis is the Medical Director of the MRH Laboratory. Hours of operation for laboratory draws are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Oncology and non-oncology patients are welcome to utilize the lab during these hours of operation.
